Hairstyling is Shannon's passion. Born and raised in Chicago, Shannon made Austin her home in 2013. After attending college Shannon pursued her dream of becoming a hairstylist graduating at the top of her class at the Paul Mitchell School in Chicago, with honors. Shannon began her career in Austin by being accepted into the prestigious apprenticeship program at Jose Luis Salon. There she mastered her cutting and coloring techniques while attending continuing education classes. With a strong background in painting, she specializes in balayage highlights and creative color. Shannon also enjoys hair styling and men's hair cutting.
Client satisfaction is Shannon's ultimate goal, and it shows through her dedication to create a personalized look for each client. Shannon takes the time to educate you on styling and at-home care. Whatever look you may desire, Shannon will help guide you in choosing the style that best suits you and your lifestyle, while arming you with the know-how to take care of it every day.
When not in the salon, Shannon is enjoying outdoors with her two miniature dachshunds, sketching in her art journal enjoying South Austin culture or watching college basketball.

Part of the reason I was so passionate about becoming a hair dresser is that I had a hard time finding a stylist that could meet my needs long-term. I strive to hear what my client wants and recommend services tailored to their needs.
